About Kelynto

A small, early company with one product and a narrow job: the weekly business review that retail planning teams owe their leadership.

What Kelynto is

Every Monday, retail planning teams have to explain last week: which stores missed plan, which beat it, and why. The planning system supplies the numbers. The explanation is still put together by hand, from spreadsheets, store calls and memory.

Kelynto is an enterprise planning intelligence platform for retail planning organizations. It reads plan against actual by store and category, sets it beside inventory, promotions and outside signals such as weather, local events, road work and competitor openings, and drafts the weekly business review with the evidence behind every cause. Where the evidence does not support a cause, Kelynto reports the variance as unexplained instead of guessing.

The work follows one loop.

  • Explain: what happened last week and why, with evidence.
  • Watch: what is coming near your stores, and which way it should push sales.
  • Act: planners confirm, reject or correct each cause and record what they did about it.
  • Score: a scorecard shows whether the explanations and signals are proving useful.

Kelynto works alongside the planning platform you already run and replaces none of it. It can run as a managed service or inside your own cloud environment.

Kelynto is an early-stage company opening its first pilots with retail planning teams.

Where the company is

Early, and it is better that you read it here than find it in diligence.

  • What exists. A working product, built, tested and rehearsed on synthetic data, and a deployment kit for running it in a customer's own cloud account.
  • What is being opened. The first pilots, with retail planning teams who write a weekly review today.
  • No customers yet. No retailer has run a pilot, so there are no results, no references and no customer logos to show.
  • Nothing hosted yet. The managed service is designed and rehearsed but not running. The customer-environment kit is built and statically validated but has not been deployed to a live cloud account.
  • No certifications. No SOC 2 report, no ISO 27001 certificate and no third-party penetration test. The Trust center lists what is in place instead.
  • No published benchmarks. The Benchmarks page sets out how results will be reported once they exist.

What an early company can offer is direct access to the person building the product, a pilot measured on a scorecard agreed before it starts, and the option to run the software in your own environment.

Founder

Kelynto was founded by Marc Estinville, who has more than 17 years in retail supply chain and planning technology.

The product comes from that work: the weekly task of explaining to leadership why sales missed or beat plan, which too often falls to one planner and a spreadsheet. That background is context for why the product is shaped the way it is. It is not a customer reference.

In a pilot you work with him directly. There is no account team in between. Questions about team size and funding are fair in vendor diligence, and he answers them himself, in writing if you need it for a vendor file.

How this site is written

Every statement about the product on this site is checked against its code, its configuration or its documents before it is published. Where something is not built, not proven or not known, the page says so.

Four status labels are used throughout:

  • Available today Built, and exercised by automated tests or a recorded rehearsal.
  • Available through enterprise implementation Delivered as part of a deployment carried out with your IT team. Not yet run on live infrastructure.
  • Planned Written or designed, not yet in effect.
  • Not available Does not exist today. No date is promised.

The demonstration retailer on the product screens, Harborview Markets, is synthetic and labelled as such wherever it appears.
